Pumpkin Picking!

Tubbs Berry Farm is a fun place to work! These are a few of the positions we hire for!

Straw Maze & Pumpkin Patch: If you are looking for a fun short term job, apply to work at the Pumpkin Patch! We will be hiring people to assist with set up, cashiers, canon operators, hayride drivers, tear down, and more. You must be at least 16 to apply.  We will be looking for people who love our farm and want to help the community enjoy this 6 week event. If you are a mom looking for some spending money and want to work a few hours a week, a student wanting a flexible short term job, or just want to spend a few weeks this fall doing something fun for the community, this might be for you! Please specify what days and how many hours you want to work. Pay starts at $7.25+bonus and tips. We believe in rewarding hard work, ingenuity, and dedication with (often retroactive) pay raises. Work will start the week of September 11th, and end the week of October 31st. We will start taking Pumpkin Patch Applications August 1st.

Weed Crew: If you are interested in a summer job, apply for our weed crew! Work will mainly be pulling weeds and hoeing, but may include planting, harvesting, and other miscellaneous farm work. We work together as a supervised crew, and while it is hard work, it is also a lot of fun! We work once a week, Tuesday mornings from 7-10 during the summer when school is out. When school is in session we may have a once a week Saturday morning or 20160621_075810weekday evening crew for those who are interested, and for a while in the fall once school starts again.

You must be 14 years of age and a good worker. Please note that starting wage is $5/hour, and goes up quickly for good workers. If you are only worth $5/hour, you will not work here long. Work will start May 30th and run through August 15th. (If you are not out of school then, just let us know and you can start later.) Some Saturday work may be available during the season for those wanting additional hours but is not required.

To apply you must complete an application and come in for an interview. You will be required to complete hiring paperwork on your first day. You may bring your parents to assist you if needed. Our goal is to help teach the process of getting and keeping a job! We are done hiring for 2017 weed crew. We will start taking applications again April 1st 2018.
